Today I thought I’d share with you guys the six beauty related tools and products that I rely on all the time, whether I’m having a lazy day or a fully glammed up sorta’ day. These are the things that you can always find hanging around my bag, or things that help me achieve the look I’m after. They’re awesome, basically.
A good set of eyelash curlers are a total MUST for me, since I weren’t bless with long and fluttery lashes unfortunately. My little stubby ones grow completely straight and they’re pretty short too, which is lame. I bought myself these beautiful eyelashes curlers from Primark for just £1! They instantly give my lashes volume, length and lift. And they’re so pretty, right?!
A great makeup brush is a must to add to any collection, and if you can find one that has multiple purposes, you’re onto a winner! I have the dreamiest makeup brush ever from Look Good Feel Better* – the multitasking brush that lives up to it’s name. You can use this for powder, concealer, blusher and even foundation application. My favourite use is using this for contouring with powder or adding a pop of blusher. It’s soft, heavenly and basically the makeup brush of my dreams!
Speaking of brushes, the Tangle Teezer* is the perfect way to combat troublesome tresses. Whether you have a frizzy mane, or tangles seem to form before you know it; the Tangle Teezer is awesome. I absolutely adore this, as it’s the only brush to not hurt me while trying to attack my thick hair. A handbag must have.
A good ole’ lip balm is an obvious one, but much needed. I get dry lips all the time if I’m not applying something there to keep them protected, and I’ve found Bee Good’s Raspberry and White Chocolate Lip Balm is my all time fave. It’s always tempting to just lick my lips, it smells that good! And it keeps my lips plump and hydrated for hours.
Keeping in with the theme of moisture, I adore Jurlique Rose Hand Cream. I’ve already wrote about how much I adore Jurlique, but I just can’t seem to stop raving on about them! This hand cream is perfect for keeping you moisturised in luxury, and makes your skin feel super soft. This is especially important to me as I work with my hands all day; crafting, cutting, painting can take it’s toll otherwise!
And finally, a great scent is a total must have! I have a bunch of favourite perfumes, but I thought I’d mention today one of the quirkier day to day scents I enjoy spritzing; The Library of Fragrance ‘Thunderstorm’. You should all know by now I’m a rainy day sort of girl, so this scent appealed to me immediately! I’ve had this for a while now and it never fails to make me smile. Especially if accompanied by blankets and a good lazy day movie for super cosy feelz!
