There’s nothing I love more than Autumn (I’m sure many of you aren’t at all shocked), and so when one of my favourite beauty brands launches a new Autumn Winter line; I get very excited!
GOSH are my home for amazing, professional quality beauty products, at a bargain price. My favourite products of theirs will always be their matte lipsticks and liquid lipsticks (seriously, try them); but I always love trying out wonderful new additions to their range.
Recently I was very kindly sent out their Autumn Winter range, and I’ve been trying all the products ever since. I thought today I’d share my thoughts on the beauty products I can report back on, and give you guys all the fun deets. It’s worth noting there are a few other products in the range, that I won’t write about just yet; as I’m still trying them! These products need a little longer to give a full, honest review on their performance, so keep an eye out for them in a few weeks!
Anyway, onto the gorgeous new range!
Strobe N’ Glow Kit Blush 002* – This handy palette is a four in one range of blush, highlighter and bronzer for easy, on the go application. I love when brands release things like this which are multi-use, it takes up far less space in my collection and is so useful when packing makeup for a trip. Each consists of a creamy texture, and the colour pay off is amazing! There are two versions of this in the collection, so you’re bound to find a shade for your skin type.
Lumi drops ‘Rose Gold’* – Rose gold you say?! YES. Gosh have done it again with their much loved Lumi Drops; opting for that perfect rose gold we all crave. Lumi Drops are a liquid highlighter, but I’ve found that you can use them in a range of ways (for blush, or on eyes). It has a beautiful shimmery finish, giving the ultimate GLOW factor for any babe wanting to shine.
Prime N’ Set Banana Powder* – I loooove this product! It’s easily one of my favourites in the range. This powder can be used simply on cleansed, moisturised skin to give a matte finish and reduce the look of pores or imperfections. OR, it can be used as a setting powder once you have applied your base, to keep is matte, in place, and looking flawless. I’ve been alternating between both, and can confirm it makes my skin look much smoother, and I appreciate the matte effect to tackle my oily areas.
Primer Plus Skin Adaptor* – The Primer Plus is a wonderful base whether you’re planning on wearing foundation or not. It applies a pale nude at first, but quickly adapts to most skin tones – I can’t see this working on the darkest of black skin, but please let me know if you’ve tried it! I’d love to know. I love how smooth this makes my skin feel, and it gives a subtle radiant glow too. I’ve been using this alone for days when I want a ‘light’ face day, and mixing with my foundation on other days, for a beautiful radiance that stays put. The best thing about this product is how it smooths the pores on my nose (problem area for me) and helps stop cream eyeshadow from creasing.
9 Shades Eyeshadow Palette ‘005 To Party In London’* – I love this eyeshadow palette, its packed full of metallic shades ranging from silver, nudes, browns, gold and purple. This is definitely more of a night time palette, although that wouldn’t stop me from wearing any of these shades any day! My favourite is definitely the purple, as its so rare to see a pretty, shimmering purple in palettes. The colour pay off is awesome, and I feel like there’s something for everyone in this handy palette.
My Favourite Mascara* – This new mascara from Gosh is the ultimate everyday essential, giving fluttery and natural looking lashes that lengthen and help to brighten eyes. I’m sadly stuck with short, barely there lashes; but this mascara helps me look much more fluttery and put together! It’s infused with oak extract, an active that benefits with antioxidant protection, helping eyelashes maintain their healthy appearance – awesome. Also worth noting it’s perfume and paraben free!
There are other wonderful additions to the new Autumn Winter collection from GOSH, such as the Brow Growth Serum, Lift and Highlight stick, Brow shape and fill, and a few others you should definitely go check out! I’ll be doing a full feature on eyebrows in a few weeks, showing the full process and whether using GOSH has helped me so far! So keep an eye out for that. Remember GOSH is available at Superdrug, and you can get free delivery if you use your beauty card!
