The Leesa Mattress (of dreams!)*

Some of you may remember last month, when I excitedly shared on my social media how wonderful my new mattress was. It had only been a few nights experience, but I was already feeling the difference and I couldn’t wait to share all the details. Well after over a month trialling it, I can confirm the Leesa Mattress*  is the best thing I’ve tried in years, and I can’t believe what a difference a good, quality mattress makes.

I was very kindly sent the Leesa Mattress for review, so this blog post is sponsored by them. However I want to say first and foremost how professional they were, in giving me the thumbs up to have complete editorial control, and insisting I be completely honest in my review. It was wonderful to be approached by a company with such good values, and understanding of the blogging industry. They asked me to try out the mattress with no strings attached, and wanted genuine, honest feedback after a month of me trying it. This wonderful understanding is also found in their buying process, as they offer every customer a 100 night trial with the mattress; and the ability to return it if it’s not quite for them. Each mattress returned would be donated to a charity, to keep in with the companies responsible ethos.

So how was the mattress for me personally?

The Leesa Mattress arrived in a long, heavy box; all tightly and professionally packed in for ease of setup. We simply opened up the box, removed the packaging, and allowed the mattress to unroll by itself onto our bed. We did this first thing in the morning, so there was at least 12 hours before we would be sleeping on it, to give it time to plump up and adjust properly. The whole process was SO EASY, much simpler than my past experiences of buying mattresses.

The first night trying out the mattress, I had such a good feeling about it immediately. I didn’t want to expect too much or become too hopeful; but it was like I’d finally found the mattress we needed. Our old one was less than 12 months old, and yet it had always given me problems from being too hard and stiff. I’d been waking up every single morning with a stiff neck and back, and had attributed this to my longtime back issues from a past car accident. However after sleeping on the Leesa mattress and waking up feeling fully rested and comfortable, I knew the previous pain had been down to our poor choice of mattress.

Over the past month it’s fair to say I’ve fallen a little in love with our new mattress, especially being heavily pregnant in this Summer heatwave we’re having! I need something really easy on my back and growing belly, to feel comforted yet supported, without leaving me stiff each morning. The Leesa mattress has 3 foam layers for optimum support, while avoiding the pitfalls of typical memory foam mattresses, such as overheating or lasting ‘dips’. It means it allows your body to sink into it without giving away its support, stays bouncy, and basically looks after you.

I’ve been really honest so far in my pregnancy journey with my readers, sharing with you all how it’s actually been more difficult rather than ‘glowy’; and it’s important to me that I share those parts too as well as the happy moments. However I do feel the need to shout and rave about this mattress, because it has truly been a lifesaver for me! A good night’s sleep is now more important than ever, and the Leesa Mattress is something I feel like SO many people should try. As I said earlier, I wasn’t asked to give a super positive, glowing review – only an honest one. So here’s the truth; YOU NEED THIS MATTRESS. If you’re in the market for a new one, or you just fancy getting a much better nights sleep, use the code ‘DORKFACE‘ while shopping for your Leesa Mattress, and you’ll get a whopping £100 off your order!! That’s pretty amazing isn’t it?

And lastly, let me leave you with these three lovely facts;

1. For every 10 Leesa Mattresses sold, 1 is donated to a charity.

2. Each time someone buys a Leesa Mattress, the company then plants a tree (and Leesa has
partnered with Arbor Day Foundation to plant one million trees by 2025!).

3. I think my cats are also huge fans of the mattress!
