As summer draws to a close, the one thing that picks me up is the end of summer sales. You can literally find everything you’ve lusted after this summer for a fraction of the price. I’m even getting excited in anticipation of discussing the bargains I have picked up! So many stores have sales on at the moment but the Debenhams sale is so AMAZING I have to dedicate a blog post to it first. Debenhams are offering 70% off on all sale and clearance items. Even more amazingly, you can get an extra 10% off the current 70% off home and fashion sale with this voucher code for Debenhams from My Favourite Voucher Codes. So after you’ve read this post, I’d advise you to GO, GO, GO and pick up some great deals!
So what have I picked up and what’s still on my list? Here’s an insight into what’s in my basket and my future wishlist.
Here are two of the top bargains I’ve secured. I just have to brag about them!
Matthew Williamson Dress
Just because the summer is ending, doesn’t mean the hot weather has to. The weather is so crazy here in the UK at the moment, you never know when a heatwave is on the way! So I have invested in the most gorgeous summer dress. The colour palette of this dress would look right at home with my blog’s aesthetic – so when I saw it, I knew I had to have it. I find knee length dresses perfect for my height and a V-neck design is always super flattering! Plus, it was only £10! How crazy is that?! Even if the weather does take a turn in the coming months, this purchase is totally justified in my mind – I can always wear it next summer or throw on a blazer and some tights and to make it a winter look.
Faith – Tan Low Block Heel Ankle Boots
Ok, so with this purchase I’ve been a little more practical. These gorgeous tan suede boots will be the perfect addition to my autumn wardrobe and a lifesaver when the weather cools down and I have to put my sandals away. They have a little heel to give me some extra height but without compromising on comfort. They arrived today and I love, love, love them. I can barely believe they were only £19.50, especially for suede!!
When I first clicked onto the debenhams sale, I’ll admit, I went a bit crazy. There was just so much I wanted! Gary had to give me a pep talk and tell me to leave some items on my wishlist until I was sure I really needed them (the cheek!). But now I know about the extra 10% off, it’s the perfect excuse to get all the things I wanted the first time around. Here are two items at the top of my wishlist.
Rocha John Rocha Duvet Cover
I thought I should probably invest in something other than clothing for me this sale season – so I will be purchasing the gorgeous Rocha John Rocha duvet set. You guys know how nutty I am about florals and pastels (if you don’t, you do now), so when I saw this duvet set, I knew I had to have it. This is going from the wishlist straight into my basket and it’s only £17.50!
Faith Black Double Zip Backpack
And back to shopping for me. The shopping for homeware didn’t last long but this item is truly necessary. I can’t go anywhere without a bag, especially when I have River with me. There is always a multitude of toiletry necessities you would never imagine you needed if you didn’t have children. That’s why I picked out this amazing leather backpack! It’s the perfect combination of chic and practical so that I can step out with a bag that compliments my outfit that holds everything I need. As soon as I’ve finished this post, this backpack will be mine!
So what are you still doing here? Head on over to debenhams website and shop all of their sale goodies before they go. You have my permission to spend, spend, spend!
