I basically live on my phone. I definitely make time away from screens completely, and feel good for this. But as someone who works from home and runs a small business by myself; a lot of phone time is a necessity to be honest.
I thought today I’d share my favourite apps, that I find incredibly useful on a day to day basis. Hopefully this can help you guys find something useful too!
Snapseed has been my favourite photo editing app for a while now. I love how detailed it is, and just how many in depth tools there are for making your photos look perfect. I use this to edit all my brand/product photos for my shop, and means I don’t even need Photoshop to make my images special.
This is a lifesaver for me as a self employed person. I can keep track of all my ingoing and outgoing money, and label everything needed into personal or business spending. It helps me keep track of what I’m earning, what takes up most of my money, and helps keep all my receipts in one place. This is especially perfect for when it comes to filing my taxes!
Paypal is absolutely essential in this day and age. Everyone uses it (even my mum, which is saying something!), and it’s now a daily must have. I find the app super helpful too as I can organise my finances, send invoices, and keep funds seperate from my bank account which proves really useful.
I love the Preview app! If you use Instagram a lot, and care about how your feed looks; you need this app. It helps you plan out your grid and how it’s going to look. You can schedule posts too, so you’re always posting at the best times for your audience. Curating my feed like this ahead of time really helps me plan my brand style; and helps my account grow too!
This one is another must have for me! I love water but I’m TERRIBLE for just drinking Coke, or other sugary drinks… or even forgetting to drink altogether! So this app is wonderful for me. You can set it to remind you regularly to drink water; and I have mine set for every hour. You can also put your personal details in and it will calculate how much you should be drinking everyday too.
