Ideal World Skinn Beauty Set*

27th March 2017

Going into a new Season can be the perfect time to alter your skincare slightly, to adjust for different weather, temperature and conditions. For this reason, I do tend to switch things up every few months, and to experiment to see if I can find any gems that work better for my skin as it changes.

I’m also now terribly aware I’m less than 2 years away from heading into my thirties, eek! So I’ve really started to take this into account with my beauty products. I truly want to invest in products that will look after my skin, help fight any early stages of ageing, and keep a healthy ‘glow’ along the way.

So when I was invited to try out the Skinn Collagenesis Beauty Set* From Ideal World, I was definitely excited! They’re currently celebrating their 17th birthday at the moment, and they’re pulling out all the stops to make it a good one. The Skinn Collagenesis Beauty Set is usually £120 in total, however for Ideal World’s birthday they are supersizing all the products AND adding two more, and pricing it at just £39.99! Like seriously how effing good is that?!?!

So obviously I was over the moon to be able to try the products firsthand and let you guys know what they are like. So today I’m going to be sharing all my first impressions of each item.

Worth noting these are all simply first impressions, as I’ve only been using the products for the past week. Please keep this in mind. I will be returning to update you guys in a month to give a full complete review 🙂

EYE STEM REJEN ELITE – This item was the one I was most excited about, as I’ve wanted to invest in something to specifically look after my eyes for a while now. This product is packed with natural plumping ingredients, to help keep skin around the eyes smooth and wrinkle free. It leaves my eyes feeling soft & nourished and is a really gentle formula. I’ve been using this everyday before applying primer and makeup.

LIP STEM REJEN ELITE – Ooh! A lip rejuvenation serum, lovely! This pretty product is applied around the mouth area and targets laugh lines specifically. It’s rich, creamy formula sets into skin quickly without leaving a greasy residue. I love the idea that these products all target specific areas, catering to the different needs we have on our skin. I have been using this every morning and evening, and I’m really enjoying it so far.

AGE DELAY FACIAL SERUM – Three key ingredients are used in this product; Glacier Water, Snow Algae Powder and Alpine Rose. All sound pretty eh? Apparently these three gems helps to keep skin moisturised, smooth and radiant. I can say I have visibly noticed a great improvement in the areas of my face that tend to dry out already (on and around my nose especially). The formula sinks nicely into the skin leaving it feeling soft and nourished.

24 HOUR YOUTH PRESERVATION CREAM ELITE – This product is probably my favourite of all! It contains no waxes, no parabens, no petrochemicals and no mineral oil. It can be used both day and night to help keep skin feel softer, as well as help to even and firm the skin. I’ve used this every night so far and it honestly makes my face and neck feel SO SOFT once its set into skin. It feels like I’m truly giving my skin something special.

The 24 hour Youth Preservation Cream is definitely my favourite, but I’m impressed with all the products so far in my short time using them. I’ll definitely be keeping you guys updated with my progress using them, and I’d LOVE to know how they are on different skin types – so let me know if you try any please!

If you fancy joining in the Ideal World birthday celebrations; there’s going to be a Twitter chat on Wednesday 29th March at 7:30pm (UK) – I’ll be there, so come join in the fun!

Now, question time. If you could only try ONE of these products, which would you choose? 🙂
