Spring is the time for NEW, EXCITING, FRESH beauty buys, or at least that’s my excuse. What’s yours? Either way, it’s awesome having new beauty products popping up left, right and center to tempt us!

I’ve wrote about trying products from Naturally Better You before (in this blog post); they sell a wonderful selection of different brands, with a range of organic, vegan, cruelty free options – yay! Last time I tried an amazing Pacifica palette which is still one of my favourites, and I was so impressed with the quality I decided to stick with the brand this time too.

The Wanderlust Beauty Set* is priced at £15.96 on Naturally Better You at the moment, and includes a Multi Mineral BB Cream, 2 Coconut Water Infused Mineral Eyeshadow pots, and 1 Colour Quench Lip Tint.

Eye two eyeshadows come in ‘Mermaid Aqua’ and ‘Treasure’. Mermaid Treasure is a light, beautiful, almost two-toned blue/green shade, perfect to compliment blue or green eyes. This pretty shade goes wonderfully in the inner corners of my eyes, teamed with darker shades. ‘Treasure’ is absolutely stunning; a rich, golden, copper shade that could give any Naked palette a run for it’s money. This shade has become one of my absolute faves! Both of these eyeshadows are absolutely gorgeous, super soft, and stay put once applied.

I’ve been wearing the BB Cream on and off for the last two weeks and it’s come in so handy. I usually stick to a heavy foundation, however; my skin has needed a break! With the switching of seasons, I think my skin is feelin’ it. I’ve had a bit of a breakout, which is so unusual for me; and I need something lighter. I’m not quite brave enough to go bare faced usually, so this BB Cream is perfect! Looking at the photo above, you would be forgiven for thinking it’s way too dark for my skin; but it blends much lighter in colour. Once swept across my face, it simply gives a more more even glow on my skin, covering the redness I naturally have. I felt like my skin could BREATHE too, yay.

And finally there’s the Colour Quench Lip Tint. Essentially a lip balm with a sheer colour – winner winner chicken dinner. I carry lip balms with me everywhere, literally EVERYWHERE. Even if I’m wearing a perfectly applied liquid lipstick, I’ll still also have a lip balm handy. My lips tend to dry out super easily, no matter what the season, so a top up of moisture is essential. I have them at my desk, in the bathroom, next to my bed, in handbags, pockets…. just trust me I have a lot. This Colour Quench from Pacifica makes a nice change though, giving me a little colour along the way too! It felt soft, nourishing and truly kind to my lips.
