Hello folk, hope you’re all doing well 🙂
March is well underway now, and with that brings Spring (it’s SO so close!). With each change of the season I love to explore different brands, especially in makeup (like I need another excuse for more makeup) and lately I’ve been trying out some special products from the much-admired-from-afar Studio 10.
I’ve seen people buzzing over Studio 10 on Instagram and Twitter for month’s now, so it’s about time we had some buzz on this here blog I reckon. I was kindly sent some samples from Studio 10 recently (who also seem SUPER friendly by the way, which is refreshing!) and I’ve been having heaps of fun trying them out.

The product I was probably most excited about, is the Studio 10 Visible Lift I-Definer palette*. This is an innovative, all in one contouring kit to help shape your eyes and give an instant lift. If you don’t already know why that would HUGELY appeal to me, then you must be new. Hello!
I moan about my eyes/eyelids any chance I get. You will find multiple rants on this blog, on Instagram photos and on random live streams of me all about how my heavy lidded eyes look ‘crap’ compared to other’s, and how I’m still learning to apply makeup in the best way for me.
So when I seen this in my mailbox, I audibly squealed for joy! This is exactly the type of product I need to be trying. Inside this palette is; a primer which helps prep your eyes, leaving them smooth and line free, and four sculpting shadows to combine to define and shape your eyes, tailored to your own needs. The formulas are soft, easy to apply and sit smoothly around the eyes.

I’ve been using this product for the past week, and getting some major help from Youtube videos. Using the shadows to lighten and ‘lift’ certain areas, and darken and define others; has really started to give my eyes the depth I so badly need. I’m a beauty noob, in the sense that I’ve never been trained in any way EVER – as I’ve always told you guys. Now that I have a versatile product like this for the very thing I’m lacking confidence in, I feel a lot better! I’m teaching myself each day, and I’m so, so happy Studio 10 have created this little gem! If you’re a heavy lidded gal like me, I thoroughly recommend trying this, and watching some Youtube tutorials!
So this product was definitely my favourite!
I was also kindly sent the Studio 10 I-Lift Longwear Liner*, the Glow-Plexion Plumping Blush*, Glow-Plexion Youth Lift* and the Lip Perfecting Plumping Gloss*.

The double ended longwear liner is amazing! The super soft and creamy formula was a great all in one product, with one end dark (your shade of choice) and one end as a highlighter for your eyes. Each can be blended beautifully with eyeshadow, giving a flawless finish. I have the shade ‘Pewter’ which is a dark gray/cream combo. I’d love to try the ‘Sea’ one next, definitely a pretty one which would go well with my hair!
I immediately fell in love with the Glow-Plexion Youth Lift serum at soon as I first pumped the product out; WOW. An instant radiant glow; acting as a fantastic primer, or even a pretty glow for over foundation. This lightweight cream is soft, creamy and illuminating, I LOVE IT. Paraben free and enriched with anti-ageing ingredients, it really does feel like your skin is brand new and as beautiful as ever. I enjoyed wearing this under foundation, however I found I felt the most use out of this wearing alone. On days when I can’t be bothered with makeup, this pretty cream still left me feeling like a princess! Will absolutely be purchasing when this runs out!
And finally, the Plumping Blush. This product is definitely high quality, and has a super long lasting and pretty shade to it. However I wish the packaging weren’t black on the outside, because you can’t see the shade until you pump it. It is a beautiful deep peach, and I only needed a little on my skin to give a wonderful blush on the apples of my cheeks. But as I say I simply wish the packaging reflected this! But no biggie.
Overall I’m super happy with my new experience with Studio 10 beauty products. I’d say my favourites are definitely the palette and the Youth Lift – gorgeous! So definitely ones I’d recommend on to others.
What about you guys? Have you tried Studio 10 yet?
