With this in mind, I decided this week to get truly colourful with my beauty products! If you know me, you’ll know I love all things watermelon. The fruit, the pattern, any item of clothing with watermelons on; anything! I just love it. So why not get fruity with my makeup since we’re heading into the Summer months? 🙂
For this look, I used a range of products.
I used my Lottie London Selfie Ready foundation* for my base. They have a perfect match for my pale skin, and it gives a flawless cover which lasts well. I then used my Morphe 35C palette for the pinkish red and green; filling in my brows and colouring my eyes. I stuck with my trusty Kat Von D Tattoo liner to do my eye flicks and the little ‘watermelon pips’. I then used Phee’s Luna Mineral Glow highlight, which is AMAZING. It’s honestly my fave now, just LOOK at that pigmentation and prettiness. Also, it’s always good to support small biz, so go try one of her amazing products!
I added the perfect pinkish red glossy lip using Soap & Glory’s Gloss Stick, and then spritzed my Style Freedom Beach Body Spray through my hair; to give it extra volume and life (it also smells gorgeous!). To finish off the look, I set my makeup using the Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Setting Spray*. This gave an easy cover to protect my look, after I’d spent so long getting it perfect. My fun makeup look didn’t budge all day and night, and my little watermelon self was as happy as could be!
I feel like this look is perfect for Summer parties, or if you simply want to try something fun and new! You could even take it to the next level, by doing a gradient lip, or wearing a red/green wig! You could also make this more of a casual look by ditching the green brows, and adding the green into the eyeshadow look.
Let me know what you guys think! I’d love to do more fun looks, so feel free to suggest some for me to try 🙂
