I’m
For those who don’t already know, B. was a Superdrug’s own brand that already had a fantastic skincare line in stores, and they are now branching out into makeup too. I was especially keen, because I was always a huge fan of the skincare range; which both Gary and I regularly use! You may remember I did a post back in January raving about the Hyaluronic acid facial spritz.
Since B. began, the range has always focused on high quality, cruelty free, vegan products that cater to ALL skin types, and it’s evident again instantly within their new makeup products. B. promises professional quality products at a fair price, and I don’t think very many of us would be disappointed at all.
I was kindly sent out a variety of samples* from Superdrug, to give a real impression on what the range has to offer; and I thought I’d share my thoughts with you guys.
There are so many beautiful lip products, ranging from moisturising lipsticks, matte liquid lipsticks, lip primer, lip scrubs and lip liners. The range of shades is impressive too and I challenge anyone to not find at least one colour they love. Whether I’m feeling a neutral look, something dark and vampy, or my usual bright and colourful; they have it all!
I think my absolute favourite has been the matte liquid lipsticks. They are essential for sculpting the perfect lip, and stick with you for hours and hours! I received shades ‘Lulu’ (a vibrant, deep pink), ‘Pinky promise’ (a pinkish nude), ‘In the buff’ (a light brown nude), and ‘1995’ (a deep, dark, chocolatey brown). I’m never one to rule out any colour, so I know I’ll be using all of these; however the pink is obviously my go-to choice!
The normal moisturising lipsticks are perfect for on the go, easy application without any fuss. I found myself loving the creamy formula and appreciating how it kept my usually dry lips nourished.
From left to right; 1995 matte liquid lipstick, In the buff matte liquid lipstick, Pinky promise matte liquid lipstick, Lulu matte liquid lipstick, Angel Delight moisturising lipstick, Oohlala moisturising lipstick. Each cost £6.99 on the Superdrug website (bargain!).
I really loved the lip and cheek tints as the ultimate handbag must-have. Making on the go makeup much easier, adding a natural flush with a lightweight formula.
The Sheer Liquid Illuminator is one of my favourite products from the whole range, for sure. This pump highlighter gives a wonderful glow, and adds natural radiance to any look. I’ve been using this on top of my makeup, and mixed in with my foundation for the ultimate dewy glow. I especially love using this on my cheekbones, and brow bone.
There’s also another product I just KNOW I’m going to become obsessed with. You all know I love anything shimmery, right? Well B. have a range of Cassie Lomas pigment pots, just perfect for any magpie’s like myself! I was kindly sent out ‘Glamoflage’ which is a copper coloured shimmer pigment.
This is absolutely beautiful, and the perfect product to get creative with! You can use it with your day to day makeup to add a subtle POP of glam, or you can team a few shades together to create something truly striking. The pigment pots come in a huge range of colours, and I already have my eye on ‘Steel’ next!
The range doesn’t stop there; there are bronzers, foundation, concealers, contour sticks, priming products, brushes, brow products and SO much more! I’m really impressed with how much work has gone into the collection, and it’s evident that B. have aimed to create something for every skin tone, which I really do appreciate. The B. makeup range has truly beautiful, high quality, professional products at amazing prices; and I am already a huge fan of what they have created!
What do you guys think? What would you most like to try from the range?
