I recently found out some of my favourite Lush products were being discontinued (goodbye Comforter shower cream, you’ll be so missed!); so I was left a little bit heartbroken. However, I was very kindly invited by Lush Plymouth recently to visit their store and check out some of the new products, so I went along hoping to be cheered up!
It was my very first event since moving here to Plymouth, and I was soooo nervous! Like, incredibly so. However I needn’t have worried, it was amazing! I met some amazing people, who were SO kind and friendly to me, and really made me feel part of the group. I can’t tell you how much that meant to me, as it’s been scary moving to a new place where I don’t know anybody. So thank you to all the lovely local bloggers I got to meet!
The guys at Lush Plymouth were SO so lovely, and made the evening really fun! We got to learn all about some new products that Lush have just released, and see for ourselves how awesome they are. We got to learn all about the amazing new range of Jelly Face Masks, Hot Hair Treatments, Body Sprays, Body Conditioners, and bath bombs.
My absolute FAVOURITE product was easily the new Jelly face masks. As someone who loves skincare, and anything that helps me feel a bit pampered; these babies were a joy to try! I was kindly given one to take home, so I chose ‘Just To Clarify’ which is great for brightening and scrubbing away dead skin cells. I was also so keen to try more of this range, that I went back a few days later and also picked up ‘Bunny Moon’ and ‘Fomo’. I’ve already tried Bunny Moon and can honestly say it’s gorgeous! I love it! It left my skin feeling super soft and smooth thanks to the soothing honey, and the value for money is incredible. I only needed to use a small portion from this tub to cover my whole face. I will easily get at least 5 more uses out of this tub! YAY!
At the event, we also got to make our own comforter bubble bars, which was SO much fun! I’m actually pretty proud of mine, I reckon it turned out quite well actually. Plus this made me feel a little better about the fact that the shower cream is now gone (sob).
We also learned all about the Hot Oil Treatments, and the new additions to the range. We learned which is best for specific types of hair, how the work, and how to get the most out of them. I couldn’t believe I’d not tried one before! We very kindly were allowed to choose one to each take home, so I went with ‘Damaged’. I’m pretty sure this is an existing product that’s been out a while, but I still wanted to try this one as it seemed best for my coloured hair! I haven’t had a chance to try this one yet, but I’ll report back when I do!
The rest of the products were ones I got myself when I went back to visit Lush this week; I couldn’t help myself! A friend had so nicely sent me a Lush gift card, and I planned on using it well! I never EVER get to treat myself to anything from Lush, so I was excited.
I decided to pick up Plum Rain Shower Gel, Sunkissed Lip Tint, Ocean Face and Body Scrub (I have loved this for SO long!), and this is when I picked up FOMO and Bunny Moon Jelly Face Masks. I felt utterly spoiled with my extra goodies – AND to top it all off, the lovely Tori in the Plymouth store so very kindly added in the Rose Jam Body Spray for me! Can you believe it?! I was SO, so happy when I realised, as I’d never been able to treat myself to it otherwise! It;s absolutely beautiful, and I’ve had so many compliments on it already when wearing it. It’s now pushed all my usual favourite perfumes aside, this is my scent of choice right now! I thoroughly recommend you guys check out the body sprays, they’re incredible.
Overall my absolute favourites of all my haul were; Plum Rain shower gel (A new favourite for me!!), Bunny Moon Jelly face mask, and the Rose Jam Body Spray. UH-MAY-ZING.
A huge thank you to Lush Plymouth, for making me feel so welcome and inviting me along for their event. I was given my Hot Oil Treatment and a Jelly face mask to try, but the rest were all bought myself!
Have you guys tried any new products from Lush recently?
