I can easily taking spending bans from shoes, I can resist buying more makeup, I can keep my wardrobe to a minimum; but the one thing I struggle to keep in check is my stationery addiction! If you know me well, you know I’m a keen fan of cute stationery in all it’s forms, and have the biggest collection, which I’m actually quite proud of. As a full time Artist, I can justify some of this by needing to buy supplies often. It’s not cheap being an Artist and finding great quality products at a bargain price is HARD.
So when I was recently sent out some Art and stationery goodies from Ryman; I was OVER THE MOON! This was so, so useful to me AND it sent my excitement through the roof as I fawned over the cute products.
The greatest product and easily my most favourite new addition, was the Winsor and Newton Easel*. Ryman are selling this for £19.99 which is amazing compared to so many other Art suppliers; trust me. Winsor and Newton are my absolute favourite brand for loads of Art supplies too, as you’ll know from my blog post about my must have Art tools. Winsor and Newton always have the best quality products, at fair prices; and they are my go-to for so many Art and craft needs. The fact that Ryman sent me this made me squeal with joy, as I’ve needed an easel for SO LONG!
Working at a desk for hours with a back injury causes me serious pain, that never goes away. I try to alleviate the pain by taking regular breaks, and walks; but there’s only so much you can do when you need to be working everyday. So as a painter, having an easel now means I can take turns between sitting and standing, and pain is no longer a factor is how long I can be creative for! Yay! This wonderful easel means I can adjust the height to my liking, and adjust the fitting to each type of canvas I may be using. It’s sturdy as hell, and folds away easily too.
Now, onto stationery!
I was also kindly sent one of the Leuchtturm1917 dotted notebooks*, and my bullet journal obsessed self was more than happy with this! I went for an olive green shade, as I always like to try a new colour each year that I start a new journal. I also decorated mine with loads of cute stickers, as I find customising my journal is always fun! The Leuchtturm1917 notebooks are known for being PERFECT for those wanting to start a bullet journal, especially the dotted ones; and they are definitely my brand of choice each time. You can read my previous posts about my bullet journals here and here. These journals are high quality, perfect for carrying around in my handbag, and help keep me super organised! Ryman sells these at £14.95 in a range of awesome shades.
To go with my new journal, I was sent the Stabilo pack of 6 highlighters* which are absolutely essential for all bullet journal enthusiasts. I like to plan out my journal with lots of colours to keep everything cute, and these bright highlighters help me mark off important things to remember! Ryman sells these at just £4.99 for the pack.
Obviously I can’t go without a banging new pencil case can I? The Rainbow A5 Pencil Case* is bloody gorgeous, and matches my rainbow aesthetic perfectly, if I do say so. It’s massive compared to all my other pencil cases, which is handy considering how many pens and markers I have now! And it’s a bargain at £2.99. Getting a new pencil case reminds me of those ‘back to school’ days and I have to say the excitement is very much still real.
And last but OMG definitely not least; the Rainbow Sticky Notes* which are basically an Instagrammers dream, eh? I go through SO many sticky notes each day, as I tend to write reminders to myself and stick them on the wall above my desk. Now I have a huge supply, and the cutest ones too, that definitely won’t get lost! This pack is £3.99 and I just don’t think you can beat how adorable it is.
A huge thank you to Ryman for sending me such quality, fun items! I’m so grateful, and they’ve already come in so handy for me.
