This means these days I’m exhausted by 6pm, and I really need to wind down and chill out after such a hard schedule. Whiskas* not long ago launched their Kitten Kollege Schools’ Out Campaign; and even though I haven’t been in school for years, that feeling of school being out for a break instantly hit me again. Remember that joy on the first day of Summer or Winter break? It was amazing! The idea behind the Whiskas campaign is to find that joy of having time off again, and really pamper yourself and your kitten! Is there anything better than idly playing with your cat, hearing them purr, and watching them do that little bum wiggle when they’re hunting things!?
As a mum of two little kitties, I can wholeheartedly say I’m a total cat person. I love all animals, but cats are my best buddies, for sure! I have Luna who is a black and white cat, aged 2 and half, and Pixi who is a tortoiseshell and is only 8 months old. They’re the cutest little bundles of fur, and Whiskas recently sent them the BEST mail they could ask for…
Whiskas sent the greatest box of gifts for my two kitties, full of toys and treats; which my cats immediately knew was for them! They came running over when I was opening the box, and they were inspecting all the contents with great curiosity. there was even the cutest cat mug in there for me too! So I didn’t feel left out 😉
Whiskas are my only choice of kitten food whenever I’m buying for my cats, as they cater to all ages of cats, are full of high quality ingredients, and have such a great range so that my little fur babies get everything they need, without getting bored. So to get a box full of their extra special treats, and a bunch of new fun toys; was SO perfect for my cats. They especially love the Whiskas Temptations!
The temptations are great as a special treat every now and again, especially when playing with my cats. Nothing gets them more excited then knowing they’ll be rewarded with something yummy! The toys included in the care package were awesome too; as both my cats are still young and really playful. I found they played for well over an hour, chasing the mouse on a string, and attacking the other toys with feathers on them. It was actually SO nice to stop everything I was doing and take it easy. Taking some downtime and having a cuddle with my cats is one of the simplest pleasures, but one that can be easily overlooked. I was happy making a nice cup of tea using my new mug, playing with my cats and their new toys, and rewarding them at the end of a long play. There’s nothing better than hearing that purr though, knowing your little animal friend is super looked after and happy.
I mean, how can you resist this face?!
It’s so important to make time for yourself and your pets. Remind your cat that they are truly loved, encourage your kitten to explore, play and connect; and enjoy every little snuggle they bless you with!
