August Goals

August is here, which means it’s the last month of Summer – thank GAWD. I know I can only speak for myself, but I am completely happy to say goodbye to the sun and embrace Autumn in all it’s glory. Before that though, I gotta get through August. So I thought I’d share what’s on my to-do list for this month, and some little goals that I have.

August Goals

  1. Sort finances

As boring as this one is, it’s got to be top of my list. I need to really try to make as much money as possible this month, in preparation for getting all those big baby things we need that we still don’t have (pram, cot, chest of drawers for the nursery, etc). We do our best all the time, but I could really use a little extra this month. So if you’re thinking of purchasing an Ad package from me, or treating yourself to something from my Etsy shop – now would really be such a great time!

  2. Rejuvenate all my content

I’ve already started on this one, so I’m feeling organised! I have a new burst of inspiration for all my content; here on this blog, my Instagram, and all my other social channels. I even created a moodboard for how I want my content to look and feel, by pinning down what my main ‘brand’ is all about. Even though I share so much of my life, anything that I feel like writing about, and products I love, I have realised that at the core I want to represent 3 things; Lifestyle, Creativity, Motivation. So I’ve already restyled my blog slightly (what do you guys think?!), and I’ve started to create a new theme for my Instagram photos. I hope you guys will like it, everything should be more streamlined now, and I have SO MANY ideas for great content that I reckon you’ll love.

    3. Launch new products

This month you’ll see me launching lots of new products (in the hopes of achieving number 1!), and the Autumnal theme will be strong. I have new stickers, artwork, bunting kits, bookmarks and more all lined up ready to go – so keep an eye out! I’ll be listing these on my Etsy shop in the next 2 weeks. Creating new products always feels good, and remember if you have any specific requests, always feel free to let me know!

    4. Have a wardrobe clear out

My little organisational self is thrilled to be doing this one! We will be completely overhauling our wardrobe, and reorganising things, which means an opportunity to really streamline my wardrobe. I’m not exactly going for a capsule wardrobe, but I do feel like I know myself better these days in what I love to wear, and what I should avoid. I’ll be sure to share the process on Instagram, so make sure you’re following me!

    5. Paint!

If you follow me on Instagram already, you’ll have no doubt noticed I’ve re-found my love for painting again. It’s the one thing I can never force, the inspiration comes and goes as pleases. I can happily confirm it’s here right now though, and I’m enjoying being creative with a brush again. I have lots of ideas and things I want to try, and it makes my heart burst whenever someone buys a painting from me, as they really are unique little babies and it feels extra special. So my plan is to continue to flourish with my canvases this month, and enjoy this time.

I’m feeling really good about my plans for August, and I can’t wait to get started. I know my goals aren’t the most exciting, and as a very heavily pregnant gal I’m hardly going to be partying it up. But it feels like progress, and things that will make me happy – so here we go!

What are your goal for this month? 🙂
