The October Blog Tag

18th October 2018

It’s been SO long since I’ve done any sort of blog tag, and mostly I hate them if I’m honest. However every now and again I’ll see a little gem that looks fun, and it comes along at the perfect time.

So since I’m procrastinating today and definitely not moving from the couch, why not do one eh? My pal Lisa created the October Blog Tag and she’s such a babe, so go follow her blog – Oh Luna.

Now, here’s a little quick one to get to know me if you’re new – OR – to check in with me if you’re a regular!

What is your favourite colour?

I love a blush pink (or any pink…) and pastel shades.

What did you do today?

Went to the hospital, went shopping with Gary, did a little cleaning around the house, and got really excited over some blogger mail.

Where are you currently?

I’m in the living room now, slobbing out of the sofa. Both my cats are joining me.

What is your star sign?

Aries. Which usually means ambitious, stubborn, fierce. I’d definitely have to agree.

Cake or Ice cream.

Cake, always! I don’t have ice cream much at all.

Frozen or Moana.

Moana probably.

A night in or a night out.

Years ago I’d have easily said night out, these days I’m much more likely to want a night in! Too much social interaction drains me, haha.

Home cooked meal or takeaway.

Takeaway. I hate cooking and leave it all to Gary, and he’s great. But you just can’t beat a Domino’s can you?!

Pineapple on pizza or no pineapple on pizza.

NO. UGHHH, never ever ever. I’ll never understand that one.

Books or films.

Books are the greatest. I do like a film every now and again, but you can read anywhere, and they’re nearly always better!

Autumn or spring.

AUTUMN, obv. I’m a rainy day kinda gal.

Flowers or chocolates.

Depends on my mood, but flowers seem so much more special don’t they?!

Full fat or diet coke.

I honestly like and drink both. Sometimes I love that KICK from full fat to be honest haha, but I’m just as happy with diet, so I try opt for that.

Phone or laptop

I’d have to choose laptop. I love my phone and LIVE on it, obviously. But I can do all the same things PLUS all my work on my laptop, so I really couldn’t be without it.

What is your current favourite TV series?

I’ve been watching The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair and loving it. Patrick Dempsey is bloody brilliant as always, and they’ve done well with the series. I LOVE the book though and thoroughly recommend you all read it.

What is your favourite thing to do in October?

Decorate pumpkins, put fairy lights everywhere, indulge in Halloween treats, put up decorations, and just enjoy the change in weather.

What is your current food to crave?

Chippy chips, because I don’t like ANY that I’ve had here in Plymouth; and I’m always craving the chippy’s from back in Liverpool. I insist on getting one whenever we visit!

Do you have any piercings or tattoos?

Many tattoos, I won’t sit here listing them. But my favourite is on my thigh, with two skeletons, a male and female, in a decorative love heart, with ‘Love will tear us apart’ inscribed. I honestly ADORE IT. Nose piercing, lip piercing, and a few in the ears – but I never ever wear any jewellery in my ears anymore! I can’t sleep in them and so I can’t be arsed putting them in and out. Also I used to have my eyebrow pierced years ago, since I adored Amy Lee.

Are you an introvert or extrovert?

I think I’m an introvert. Not at all shy, and can be quite loud. However social interaction genuinely does drain me, and I don’t thrive on it like I once did. I need time to recuperate on my own in-between, haha!

What is your all time favourite Halloween film?

HALLOWEEN. The whole series! Jamie Lee forever.

Name your top 3 favourite artists/bands.

Eminem, Placebo, Blink 182.

Have you got any plans for Halloween?

No, not really! Watch some spooky movies with Gary and eat all the sweets, maybe?

Do you have any fears?

Wasting time. The thought of not doing what I love, missing chances, and wasting this very short life TERRIFIES me more than anything. I’m not scared of death, but I am scared of not living. Also spiders.

Do you believe in life after love?

I can feeeeel somethin’ inside meselffff – Okay anyway. Yes.

Do you have any children? (or animals you treat as your babies).

A baby boy on the way, and two female kitties that I definitely count as babies.

What do you want for your future?

Just happiness! That could mean seeing my business be a success, ticking things off my bucket list, getting married, and watching our son grow.

Be honest, why did you start blogging?

I was desperate for a creative outlet!! I was writing and creating anyway, I just had to start SHARING IT ALL.

What is your biggest achievement so far?

Hmm. I’d say starting and running my own little business for three years and just surviving basically.

What are your ambitions with your blog?

I’m enjoying it as it is! Maybe just to grow?

If there is one thing you’d like to change about your blog what would it be?

That I had a photographer to take all my photographs for me!

Have you achieved any blog goals you set out to do this year?

I didn’t have any blog goals really, just to keep going! 🙂 I did have Etsy goals though, and I hit them, yay!

Where do you want to be in 10 years time?

Running my ever growing business, with a small staff of helpers, still as in love with Gary as ever, and watching our boy grow up.

What is your dream holiday?

Probably to visit Canada, or Japan.

If you had an entire day to yourself what would you do?

No work? And no pregnancy in this scenario? (only because it slows me down and I’m SO SO tired!) – In that case I’d go out shopping with friends, indulge in visiting some Art galleries, have the yummiest lunch ever (enjoy some wine!), come home and paint until my heart is content, and then snuggle up with Gary in the evening. PERFECTION.

This was so much fun, and the perfect way for me to put off work, mwhahaha. Thanks Lisa!

I’d love to see you guys fill this in, so leave a comment with your link if you have! 🙂
