Recent Favourites

11th November 2018

I was going to leave this post until the end of the month, and do a ‘monthly faves’ sort of thing; but seeing as baby is due to come in the next 2 weeks, I think maybe not. So I decided to write out all my favourite things I’ve enjoyed or loved lately, to share with you guys sooner rather than later!

So settle in, grab a cuppa and be sure to let me know your faves lately too!…

Firstly, I HAVE to show off this beautiful Opal Pink bracelet* I was kindly sent from Love My Apparel. I got this as a gift for my Mum, but to be completely honest I want it for myself! It’s made from an intricate gold plated tristed band design, with two rose pink coloured opal stones meeting in the middle. It’s handmade with genuine Swarovski elements, and photographs do NOT do it justice! It gleams and glitters within the light, and definitely appeals to any pink lovers like me. If not, they do have other colours though! Now the only question is, do I love my mum that much??? πŸ˜‰

The lovely Laura is definitely going in my favourites this month! Her blog Lojo VS The World is an awesome combination of lifestyle issues, everyday loves, adventures, family and what she’s been up to. I also love that she shares her Rory Gilmore reading challenge! I might have to take this up myself. Lojo is my only advertiser this month, because I wanted to cut right down on all commitments. So I decided to just have one extra special advertiser, and of course it had to be her! Definitely give her blog and social media a follow; because she’s truly a babe, and always so supportive!

Another wonderful treat in the post came from my old faves Baylis and Harding*. I was kindly sent out a huge box of Christmas themed gifts, with something for everyone! Bath and shower sets, gorgeous smellies, Christmas candles, bath fizzers, mens grooming must-haves, and so much more!

With luscious scents such as sweet mandarin and grapefruit, and midnight fig and pomegranate ; you’re sure to love these beauties! I’ll be keeping my absolute faves for myself, and if I’m feeling really kind I’ll hand out some of these gift sets to my family, as I know they’ll love them too!

TV and movie favourites recently have become important to me since I’m on maternity leave, and need some good things to keep me hooked! Now you all know I’m a HUUUGEEE Greys Anatomy and Criminal Minds fan; so you just know I’m watching the new episodes absolutely thrilled. But apart from those, what else have I been watching?

I’ve loved The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair; it’s based on a brilliant book which I do recommend you go read. But the TV series starring Patrick Dempsey has been AMAZING, and I looked forward to each episode.

I’ve also enjoyed some English TV (which is rare for me to be honest); like Sick Of It – Karl Pilkington’s recent creation, and ‘The Reluctant Landlord’ from Romesh Ranganathan which has had me giggling. Each are both short episodes guaranteed to bring a smile, easy watching at its best.

I’m currently reading my way through the Lincold Rhyme series from Jeffrey Deaver. I’ve loved these books for a long time, but I only allow myself to read each book from the series every few months, so I don’t binge and get sick of them. If you haven’t tried them, I thoroughly recommend you do; as there are SO many it’ll give you loads of books to read AND they’re amazing crime thrillers if you’re into that sort of thing.

What have been your recent faves? I want movie recommendations, books, beauty products – anything! πŸ™‚
