If there’s one thing you should know about me; it’s that I love me a rainbow! In fact, so many people know of my obsession that I’m regularly tagged in anything rainbow-ish on Instagram – and I LOVE IT. Rainbow hair, rainbow clothes, Art, accessories or makeup; I’m here for it all!
Last Summer when I started buying baby clothes for River, I was particularly keen on getting anything with a rainbow print on; and I discovered how brands don’t usually cater them to little boys (hmmf, annoying! Boys can wear rainbows too!). Anyway, it became a fun but tricky challenge to fill his wardrobe with colour.
So you can imagine my joy when Gola sent us both our own special rainbow shoes! The Classics Women’s Coaster Rainbow* pumps for me, and the Classic Kids Velcro Rainbow Trainers* for River! When they kindly asked for our sizes, I made the silly mistake of ordering older kids ones rather than babies – OOPS! So you’ll see our little River raindrop has a way to go before he will fit in them!
However I think this might be best, so that they can be put away for him and he can get the most use out of when he’s bigger! They’re so precious, and I can’t wait to style his outfits to match!
As for mine, I’m in love! They are the most perfect shoes for me I could ever have. They’re so comfortable and soft, just what I need while running around looking after a baby (and still looking cute as hell!). I can’t wait to wear them over Summer when my clothes will be brighter than ever too.
