October is almost over, crazy eh?!
It’s hard to believe 2016 is whizzing by so quickly, but I’m kind of excited. Next year is already looking to be a good one for me personally, and who doesn’t love all the end of year excitement? Halloween is in a few days, Christmas is peeking around the corner, and before you know it, we’ll be sharing our new years resolutions.

Anyway, back to October! It’s been a bloody fantastic one around these ways, and it’s been hard to nail down my favourites, but I’ve tried!
I was lucky enough to be sent a range of GORGEOUS ‘The only 1’ matte lipsticks from Rimmel – I almost squealed the house down when they arrived! – and they’ve been my go-to each day since. These velvety lipsticks have a great high impact colour, smooth and soft application, and stand the test of time. My favourite shades are ‘500 – Take the stage’ and ‘810 – The matte factor’ – both darker shades and beautiful for Autumn.
In keeping with Autumn beauty; I’ve also been testing out some of my fave nail polishes to find that perfect shade for this month.

I love dark reds, plums, blacks, and anything a little glitzy; but my absolute favourite has been a surprising one. I picked up this PS Metals Rose Gold polish from Primark, of all places; and I’m absolutely in love! It’s a luxurious, warm copper toned shade that just screams bloggers in Autumn. What do you guys think?
I also received the most amazing travel sized kit* from Dr Renaud Skincare in the ‘Glowing complexion’ range, and also some amazing false eyelashes* from False Eyelashes.

The skincare set from Dr Renaud was kindly sent to me from Skin Evolution, and it gave my skin a really healthy looking boost during October, using the three products combined to target different things.
There was an apple Anti-tiredness eye care soothing cream, a raspberry cleansing water for face and eyes, and a carrot anti-pollution radiance cream in the set. Each gave my skin a much needed boost, leaving it clean, clear and feeling nourished. My favourite of the set was definitely the raspberry cleansing water! This is so so kind and gentle on skin, but left me feeling as if I’d thoroughly cleansed it and got rid of the daily grime that can build up. It helped ease away even my toughest makeup too! I think this kit makes a perfect gift if you’re starting to plan for Christmas and know someone who would appreciate this wonderful skincare package!

The false eyelashes I kindly received were from FalseEyelashes.com and I was so happy to browse such a fantastic range. they literally have EVERY brand you could want, every style, different type of application – whatever you need from your lashes, they have it. I opted for the pre-glued range, to make life nice and easy for myself, since I’m not the very best at applying!
I opted for the Ardell Press On Lashes and Eylure London Naturals set, and I’m so so happy with both! I feel like such a noob, for not ever thinking to buy pre-glued ones before, as they are SO SO much easier! The Ardell ones are perfect for a night time look – with a little more ‘oomph’. The Eyelure naturals are exactly what you’d expect; gorgeous, fluttery ones for daytime. They gave me a little extra prettiness to my eyes, without looking over the top, so definitely one I need more of now! They make me look more awake and glam, even if I’ve just rolled out of bed haha.
I’m so looking forward to November now to see what the next month has in store for me.
I hope you guys all had a great month! Let me know your fave bits from October!
Ooooo the primark gold polish looks so cool! xx
I LOVE the new Rimmel The Only 1 Matte lipsticks! I got them all through the other day and The Matte Factor and High Flyer are my favourite. My all time favourite liipstick is from the original The Only 1 range in the shade Naughty Nude, and High Flyer looks like exact match for it but a matte equivalent…so happy!
