Pixi By Petra Beauty

29th October 2016

This week was one of the best weeks I’ve had in absolutely ages, and it’s fuelled my passion for blogging even more than ever. I’ve had a bunch of exciting events to attend to, I’ve met some amazing bloggers and I’ve managed to take home some of the best products the beauty world has to offer.

One of the best highlights from this week was without a doubt, meeting Amanda Bell. Amanda is the global Art Director for Pixi by Petra, and she was an absolute pleasure to talk to!

Pixi by Petra is a brand that has always been about fuss free beauty products; giving you a gorgeous glow and making you look and feel pretty, with minimal effort. Pretty perfect then if you have a hectic schedule but still want that beautiful natural look. I myself have tried a few Pixi products before, and always been extremely happy with the high quality and luxurious feel Pixi brings.

So when I was invited by the lovely Jessica to meet Amanda on Thursday and chat all things Pixi, I was pretty excited to say the least! I popped along with Gary in tow, and we visited the wonderful Malmaison hotel here in Liverpool. From the moment we arrived, Jessica and Amanda were so, so friendly, welcoming and lovely; and they made Gary feel very much involved too, even though beauty products aren’t his forte. I thought this was super sweet, and it makes a big difference when people make such a thoughtful effort.

Before long we were chatting all about our favourite Pixi by Petra products, what makes a product worth buying again and again, and how Pixi really make an effort to keep their prices low, even for the most beautiful high quality products. I fawned over the Ultimate Beauty Kit 3rd Edition, which is a huge palette of bronzers, highlighters, eyeshadows, blushes and brow products; all packed into an all in one handy open up palette, for absolutely everything you might need. This is worth so, so much when totalled up for each product included, but Pixi are selling it for just £28!! It’s almost crazy that it’s so low. I have definitely put it on top of my Christmas wish list now, and I think Gary knew from my heart shaped eyes he’ll have to buy me it, haha.

I also got some great advice from Amanda about how best to use the products, how to make the most of my features, and how I can use some of them in multiple ways. Again, showing that Pixi by Petra is all about flawless and convenient products that work for each individual.

As well as making a list of products I desperately need for myself, I realised just how amazing the range would be for Christmas gifts. There really is something in Pixi by Petra’s fabulous range of products, for everyone. So I’ll be sure to treat a few of my nearest and dearest this Winter.

Before I left, I was very kindly given a bag of treats from Amanda for myself to try out, including the much coveted and cult product, ‘Glow Tonic’, the Multibalm Cheek and Lip, the Palette Rosette and the Endless Silky Eye Pen Kit. I am so flattered and feel immensely grateful for the chance to try all these wonderful products out! You can be sure I’ll be giving full reviews very soon. (I have already tried the Silky Eye Pens though, and they are AMAZING!)

A huge thank you to the fabulous Amanda Bell; who was hilarious, kind and really sweet, and to the lovely Jessica who was super thoughtful in setting me up with this opportunity. I am eternally grateful!

I hope you guys will go out and try Pixi by Petra products of you haven’t already, as the quality and range is something I think you’d all love! Let me know if you have any favourites already too!

Best wishes x

I received a Pixie by Petra Mascara in a Love Me Beauty box and I absolutely loved it. Can’t wait to try their other products. The packaging is so simple and pretty.
