Today I thought I’d share with you guys some of my five favourite hair products that help keep this lilac beast tame!

1. Hair masks – I dye my hair, I straighten it, curl it, blow dry it. I basically put my hair through a lot; so I love putting some care back into it each week with a great hair mask. You don’t have to spend loads to get something awesome either, I use Herbal Essences Bee Strong Intensive Mask which only £3.99! (Actually it’s on offer right now in Superdrug for £1.98! You’re welcome!). It smells gorgeous and leaves my hair silky and nourished.
2. Bobby pins – Does anyone else take these absolutely everywhere?! I keep a load on my dresser, in my handbags, on my desk, etc… and yet I still seem to lose them all! They’re handy little sods though.
3. Hairspray – I like my hair, but if there’s one thing I totally lack; it’s volume. A good hairspray that gives me effortless lift and doesn’t feel drying is so, so needed. Lately I’m loving the ‘BIG’ range from Sexy hair. Essential product if I want to keep any waves or curls in my hair!
4. Hair Serum – I’m a huuuuge fan of Superdrugs own brand for this one (the Style Expertise one) as it leaves my hair much sleeker and smoother! This is now on my all time must-have essentials, as I just can’t go without it. Running through the ends of my hair makes a massive difference.
5. Magi:bobbles – These are my new fave thing! Super comfy and easy to wear, and slip seamlessly into your hair! I think my fave thing is that I don’t encounter that age old hair tie problem; y’know where you do two loops, its much too loose, but do three and it cuts off your circulation? Yeah, that’s not an issue anymore haha. (Please someone say they know what I’m talking about!)
Let me know what your hair essentials are! 🙂
I actually just bought big sexy hair for volume! I love hearing that it works for you. Happy Holidays xxx
The Bee Strong range is SO good, I used to be obsessed with the shampoo and conditioner, never tried the mask though! I couldn’t be without dry texturising spray, although I’ve still not found the perfect one :/

I got my hair tie in 4 loops the other day, got my finger stuck and was convinced it was going to fall off! I really need to stop tying it so tightly as it’s causing some major damage! I switch to Yogi ties at the beginning of the year and these have made a huge difference! I really want to try to magi:bobble though! I need to experiment with hair masks too, the ones I’ve tried have never done much of anything!

I have some of those bobbles. What I like is that they don’t leave as much of a crease in my hair as normal hair ties do!

Definitely, no harsh bumps, its so so good! x
I totally get what you’re talking about with the whole two/three loops haha – I love those types of hair bobbles, so great as they don’t make your hair kink either!
